At Rashid and Rashid Solicitors, we assess your eligibility during an initial immigration advice and consultation session conducted via Zoom. During this meeting, our expert immigration lawyers will provide clear guidance on all relevant requirements, documentation, procedures, and associated costs related to your immigration matter. Following the consultation, we will offer you a transparent fixed-fee quote to handle your case with no hidden charges.
Agreement
If you choose to instruct Rashid and Rashid Solicitors following your initial immigration advice and consultation session, our immigration lawyers will send you a service agreement by email. You will be asked to digitally sign the agreement and return it to our London office via email, formalising our engagement to represent you in your immigration matter.
Documentation
You will be required to email all supporting documents in PDF format to Rashid and Rashid Solicitors for submission in support of your immigration matter. Our immigration lawyers will carefully review your documents and provide a detailed professional opinion on their adequacy, relevance, and any further documentation required to strengthen your case.
Application
Our immigration lawyers will then complete your application form online during a Zoom meeting, sharing their screen with you to ensure full transparency and accuracy throughout the process.
Fee Payment
We submit your immigration application online and also help you pay the application fee online.
Statement
Where necessary, our immigration lawyers will prepare a detailed personal statement in support of your immigration application during a Zoom meeting, sharing their screen with you to ensure the content is accurate, comprehensive, and fully reflects your individual circumstances.
Representation
We prepare a comprehensive cover letter in support of your immigration application, clearly listing all submitted documents and presenting detailed legal representations to strengthen your case.
Immigration
We handle the online uploading of all supporting documents, ensuring they are properly submitted for consideration as part of your immigration application.
Completion
We manage all follow-up communication and correspondence related to your immigration application, continuing to represent you until a final decision is issued by the Home Office (UKVI).

Complaints Procedure
At Rashid and Rashid Solicitors, we are committed to delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients. We take pride in our professional standards, but we also recognise that, on occasion, concerns may arise regarding the service provided.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, or if you have a concern about the way your matter is being handled, we encourage you to raise the issue with us at the earliest opportunity. You may do so in writing, by telephone, or in person. All complaints should be directed to the Principal, Mr. Rashid, who is responsible for ensuring that complaints are dealt with promptly and fairly.
We follow a structured three-stage complaints procedure:
- We will acknowledge your complaint upon receipt.
- We will investigate the matter thoroughly, reviewing all relevant documentation and consulting the individuals involved.
- We will provide you with a written response within eight weeks of acknowledging your complaint, outlining our findings and any actions taken.
We aim to resolve all complaints internally. However, if you remain dissatisfied after receiving our final response, or if we do not respond within eight weeks, you may have the right to refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman, an independent body that deals with complaints about legal services.
Our goal is to ensure that all concerns are addressed in a fair, transparent, and timely manner, and that you continue to feel confident in the service we provide.
Fixed Fee
At Rashid and Rashid Solicitors, our fixed-fee immigration solicitors offer clear and transparent pricing for all immigration matters. If the agreed fixed fee exceeds £2,000 and you are unable to pay the full amount upfront, we are pleased to offer a flexible payment arrangement. In such cases, we accept 50% of the agreed fee at the time of instruction, with the remaining balance due prior to the enrolment of your biometrics.
A Fixed Fee Arrangement is an alternative to the traditional hourly billing method commonly used by immigration solicitors. Under this arrangement, a clear and predetermined fee is agreed upon for each stage of the legal work, regardless of the time spent on the case. This approach provides certainty and transparency in legal costs, allowing you to budget effectively for your legal representation in UK Visa and Immigration matters.
